 Glyn
Owen Hughes - Chairman
Most recently Vice-Chairman of Harrogate Health Care NHS Trust
and a non-executive director for nine years, Glyn was previously
the Managing Director of a printing company in Leeds, a subsidiary
of Rexam plc, and of Waddingtons Games Ltd. Married with four
married children and six grandchildren, Glyn enjoys most sports
in the time left by the family!
Peter
Moore - Vice Chairman
Peter is a senior partner in a local firm of solicitors and
a member of the council of St Michael’s Hospice as well
as the chairman of a local friends’ group of the Home
Farm Trust.
David
Robinson - Treasurer
David is a partner in Buckle Barton, a Leeds firm of Chartered
Accountants with extensive financial and business contacts
and expertise - a Leeds United season ticket holder but works
on his golf to provide some sporting pleasure!
Sue
Downes
Formerly the Assistant Head Teacher at St. Aidan’s (Church
of England) High School, Harrogate, Sue is now North of England
Co-ordinator for ASDAN, and Examination Board which accredits
vocational qualifications awarded at all levels.
Sara
Lamper
A former journalist, and now a public relations consultant
in Harrogate, Sara works across a range of sectors, including
financial, legal, insurance, manufacturing and property.
David
Harbourne
Former Executive Director of Learning and Skills Council North
Yorkshire. Now works part-time as a freelance consultant,
specialising in education and training policy. Chair of the
York and North Yorkshire Community Foundation. Principal carer
for his wife, who has Huntington’s Disease.
Jackie
Mahon
Jackie is a Chartered Management Accountant with wide experience
in a range of business and commercial settings, most recently
at Merrill Lynch. She is currently taking a break from the
business world to be a mother to three young children.
