CAMPAIGNS AT carers' resourcE

The Dignity in Care Campaign was launched in November 2006 to end tolerance of indignity in health and social care services.  It encourages people to talk about dignity issues and to improve the quality of care for service users and their carers in hospitals, care homes, GP surgeries etc.

The National Carers Strategy aims to ensure carers are respected as expert partners in care.  At the Carers’ Resource we strongly support this.  Anna Jackson, our Head of Development, has signed up to be a dignity champion to promote carers’ issues onto the dignity agenda.

Thursday 25 February
is National Dignity Day and we would like to hear from YOU.

campaign

We want to capture your experiences as a carer of someone using health and social care services – both good and bad. We would like to build up a collection of stories and case studies which Anna can use to push dignity and respect for carers up the local, regional and national agendas.

If you have anything you would like to share with us linked to dignity in care please contact your local office – numbers below - and they will take the details to pass to Anna.

Or contact Anna directly:
